This is a beautiful little zooms. It’s small, compact, light-weight, has good close focus, and covers an amazing range. It’s sharp enough for film, but well suited for digital too. It has medium contrast, and beautiful flare character.

The lens has been converted to PL Mount, and has new focus and zoom gears. It also has a new Duclos Lenses front ring which has an 80mm front diameter, and accepts 77mm screw-in filters. If you want a compact build, with a fast lens that covers a great range, you should consider this lens. It’s a great option for our Standard 16mm Bolex kits.

NOTE: this lens was designed for the Standard 16mm format. It does not quite cover Super 16mm at the wide end.
