These Soviet era lenses, some going back to the 1950s, have a cult following due to their absolutely gorgeous, bold character. Every lens has a sharp center, moderate fall-off, gorgeous textured bokeh, stunning lens flares, medium contrast, and they are extremely flattering on your subject.

The set centers around some of the most legendary lenses to come out of the Soviet Union, including the famous Helios 44-2 58mm f2, and the Helios 40-2 85mm f1.5. These are some of the most amazing portrait lenses ever engineered. They were extremely popular secret weapons of portrait photographers for decades, and they eventually made their way into motion picture production.

Ironglass’ MKII housings are fantastic, and are ready for the most demanding professional productions. They have cam-based internal focus that is buttery smooth, reliable and repeatable. Close focus has improved on all lenses, and focus rotation is an excellent 330 degrees. They have matching focus and iris gear repositions, 95mm fronts, and PL mounts. They are compact, and lightweight, excellent for gimbal or drone use.
