These are some of the smallest true front anamorphic lenses ever made. Their specs are incredible: 80mm fronts, about 1 pound in weight! But that’s not their whole story. They are sharp, focus fairly close, and produce soft, oval bokeh. Lens flares are pleasing and reminiscent of traditional anamorphic. They have minimal focus breathing and low distortion.

These lenses are great for shooting S16mm film. They are sharp enough, and the 1.5x squeeze ratio is perfect for film, giving you a strong anamorphic look, and a final aspect ratio of 2.49:1, whihc means minimal cropping to get to a traditional 2.40:1. Our set includes the 20mm T2.2. This lens covers the S16mm format, and fast, sharp wide open, and gives you an excellent wide angle option for S16mm anamorphic.

NOTE: These are the “Silver” Series, so the lens flare is relatively neutral and will take on the color of your light source, similar to Atlas Orion Silver Edition.
