The Optimo series of zooms from Angenieux represents the pinnacle of zoom lens optical design. These are some of the only zooms that can match and even exceed the performance of prime lenses. The 17-80mm T2.2 is one of the only zooms that gives you all the focal lengths of a set of primes, with a T stop that can match most primes! No ramping, no focus breathing, amazing close focus, and of course, Angenieux’s now legendary color, contrast and character.

We offer two versions of this amazing lens: the original 17-80mm T2.2, which was designed to cover 3-perf 35mm motion picture film, and the 20.5-98mm T2.6, which will completely cover Open Gate on both the ARRI Alexa 35 and ARRI Alexa Mini.
