The lenses represent the further evolution of LOMO cinema lenses. They are sharp, yet they still have a good amount of character, especially wide open. Even though they have more modern multi-coated elements, they flare big, and easily. They have extremely well controlled focus breathing.

While these are modern cinema lenses, they use an older helical style focus system, and focus is not internal. If you are using a matte box with these lenses, we highly recommend a swing-away matte box (which we can provide). Use of clamp on matte boxes can cause the focus to become stiff and heavy.

The lenses are designed cover Super 35mm.
