This is the successor to the legendary Canon 8-64mm T2.4. Just a tiny bit slower and heavier but you gain 1mm on the wide end for this 9x zoom. It’s sharp, and breathing is fairly well controlled, and close focus is excellent. This is the perfect lens for nearly any shooting situation, with the reliability and quality we expect from Canon S16mm zooms.
