If you’re familiar with the Canon K-35 25-120mm T2.8 zoom for S35, you will fall in love with this lens right away, although this lens is sharper! It’s medium contrast, with gorgeous textured bokeh, and you get amazing lens flare character thanks to its huge lens elements and vintage Canon coatings.

The lens is on the heavy side, and it does not have internal focus. However it does have an Arma Orbital system allowing the use of clip-on matte boxes, and follow focus systems. It might not be right for every project, but when it is the right choice, nothing else can deleiver this speed, this range, and this unique character.
