MORE INFO

We feel that if you are going to shoot INFRARED cinematography, we want you to have the best camera possible to do it. There is no better option than our modified RED RANGER with a MONSTRO VV 8K sensor. This gives you a true infrared images, and a top-of-the-line camera packed with features. Its 8K VISTA VISION sensor allows you to capture VV, or S35, and many flavors of anamorphic, as well as high frame rates if needed. No matter what lenses you want to use, to make your infrared project a reality, this camera will be able to make the most of them.

Along with our “INFRA-RED” camera, we have additional specialty filters and the knowledge of how to achieved the specific look you are going for based on what part of the visible light and/or IR spectrum you want to work within.

As you can see from the samples below, depending on filtration and color grading, many looks can be achieved by working in this part of the light spectrum. Infrared cinematography can seem overwhelming at first, but it’s actually quite straight forward once you understand the fundamentals. After that, it’s exciting, rewarding, and addictive. If you are interested in shooting infrared, let us know and we will help you make it happen!

NOTE: Our modified Infrared cameras are capturing true infrared / full spectrum images. This should not be confused with “monochrome” cameras such as RED’s many “Monochrome” editions of their cameras. Those cameras simply record a “black and white” image capturing light from the visual spectrum. Infrared cameras like ours are recording light from the infrared spectrum that the human eye cannot see, delivering a look “monochrome” cameras cannot replicate.
