Our Fujinon 19-90mm T2.9 is the MKII version of the lens with improved optics for sharper images at the wide end. This is such a great all-purpose zoom. It’s a very sharp, high-contrast lens, even wide open. It has no ramping, and very low focus breathing. It covers such a great range from wide to telephoto, all in a very compact and lightweight design. It has a servo uint with controls for focus, iris, and zoom. But the servo unit is removable if your shoot doesn’t require it. Removing the servo reduces the lens’ overall weight by about 1 pound.

An amazing feature on these lens, is its built-in macro mode, and back focus adjustment. You can adjust the lens in the field to set back focus perfectly to your camera. The same system also allows the lens minimum focus distance to improve to working distances typically reserved for macro lenses, and you can easily do it on the fly. Whether you are shooting a feature film, a music video, a commercial, or a documentary, this lens is well suited for almost any shooting envronemt.
